I’m Amanda Thomson, the British Founder and CEO of Thomson & Scott Noughty, the world’s best Alcohol-Free alternative to Champagne and alcoholic sparkling wine.

WHAT  did you do ?

I created a portfolio of high-quality organic, vegan, halal certified alcohol-free wine offering healthy alternatives to Champagne and fine wine.  The company also secured its B Corp certificate meaning that we are amongst the few companies around the world recognized officially for putting purpose on an equal footing with profit.

HOW did you do it?

I did it by studying hard  - I moved my young family to Paris, France where I did the world’s first wine diploma at Le Cordon Bleu school. Lots of tasting. And an incredible amount of research and analysis.

WHEN  did you start your company?


WHY  are you innovating with this product or service?

Because alcohol is the new tobacco with regards to the way in which legislation is heading and really because whichever way we cut it, alcohol is not healthy, and I wanted to bring the party spirit but without the alcohol.

WHERE are you from?

I’m British and live in the UK. Funnily enough, we have a strong history of innovation in the London drinks business.
